About 2,500 officers are planned to secure Seville around the Copa del Rey final, with authorities aiming to deter supporters from heading to the preferia.

According to Diario Vasco, the Subdelegación del Gobierno in Seville met the Policía Nacional, Guardia Civil and Ertzaintza to finalise a high-risk security operation.

It is being mobilised by the Policía Nacional and the Guardia Civil.
