It has previously been reported that Manchester City and Manchester United have shown interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic.
However, the 21-year-old has revealed in an interview with Sky Germany that he has no desire to leave his boyhood club, who he could see himself representing for the rest of his career.
“The most beautiful thing would be to play here for an entire lifetime with the fans and the team. But in life you never know what will happen, so for now it’s just a dream,” Pavlovic said.
“If everything goes well, the way we imagine it, that would of course be very nice.”
Pavlovic also welcomed recent praise from Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann, who highlighted him as a player with a good chance of starting in midfield at the World Cup.
“Of course I’m pleased that Julian Nagelsmann speaks so positively about me. It motivates me to keep going, to play even better, to give everything and to show what I’m capable of,” the German international added.
