Over the past few years, Aleksandar Pavlovic has developed from a campus talent to an integral part of the FC Bayern first team. The 21-year-old is now an important component of Munich’s midfield – and is thinking about his long-term future at the record champions

In an interview with Sky, Pavlovic made it clear how close his connection to the club is: „The best thing would be to play here for a lifetime with the fans, with the team. But in life, of course, you never know what will happen and that’s why it’s a dream for now. If everything goes well, as we imagine, that would of course be very nice.“

The statements are in line with earlier comments made by the Munich-born player. Pavlovic has already emphasized several times that he can imagine a complete career at FC Bayern. The midfielder went through almost every stage at the club – from youth to campus to the professional team

In addition to his future at FC Bayern, Pavlovic also spoke about his greatest sporting role models. One name in particular has shaped him in his development

„My absolute favourite player and idol was always Cristiano Ronaldo, and he still is today, even though he’s older now. But everyone sees how fit he is at that age, how he prepares before every game, before every training session. That shapes every young player, every boy who watches soccer outside. That’s how he shaped me too. That’s why I’m grateful that I was able to watch him play soccer.“
