Raúl Jiménez could return to América for Apertura 2026, which follows the 2026 World Cup. According to Americayya.net, the club are in talks to persuade the forward to come back.
Jiménez left América in 2014 in a €10.5 million move to Atlético de Madrid.
12 years on, he has had ups and downs but has remained at a high level. Now 34, he is enjoying a strong season with Fulham in the Premier League.
His contract at Fulham expires mid-year and there is no sign yet of an extension. That makes him free to negotiate with any club.
He has repeatedly said he wants to retire with América, although previous attempts to engineer a return have not materialised. Interest from Europe, Arabia and MLS could also complicate any move.
