Club América are exploring a potential move to bring Fulham striker Raúl Jiménez back after the 2026 World Cup, with the forward viewed as a longer-term target.

According to Medio Tempo and Fox Sports, América are shaping a medium-term plan and are interested in a future reunion, though midfield strengthening is the immediate focus. They have opened talks with Palmeiras midfielder Raphael Veiga, seeking a dynamic box-to-box profile to add balance, tempo and creativity.

Jiménez’s Fulham contract expires this summer, so he could arrive as a free agent at a mature stage of his career. Club figures believe his experience, leadership and goalscoring instincts could prove decisive in high-pressure moments, while reinforcing a blend of homegrown and internationally proven talent.

The striker began his career at América, scoring 36 goals in 96 league appearances between 2011 and 2014. He made 102 appearances in all competitions before earning a move to Europe.

For supporters, a reunion would be a full-circle moment at the Estadio Azteca.
