According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica may revisit a move for Anis Hadj-Moussa in this transfer window, with renewed interest in the Feyenoord winger. The dossier that appeared closed has been revived behind the scenes at Luz.
Hadj-Moussa’s pace and technical quality are said to appeal to the Benfica hierarchy. With difficulty securing André Luiz or Rafa, the board could turn back to the Algerian as they urgently seek width.
Talks with the Rotterdam club would be complicated. The player is under contract until 2030 and there is rival interest from Chelsea and Marseille. That competition, combined with the long deal, is expected to significantly push up any fee.
Last summer he came close to joining Benfica, but the transfer did not materialise. He instead renewed with the Dutch side, postponing any move to Portugal.
This season for Feyenoord, Hadj-Moussa has played 23 matches, 15 in the Eredivisie, six in the UEFA Europa League and two in Champions League qualifying. Across 1,897 minutes he has scored seven goals and provided three assists. He is valued at 13 million euros.
