Arsenal are reportedly very interested in Milan’s young goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani, though the Rossoneri do not yet see the interest as a concrete threat, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 2005-born goalkeeper is currently playing for Milan Futuro (the club’s B-team). The report notes that Torriani came to the attention of the Gunners after putting in an impressive performance against them in a friendly match over the summer, where he notably saved three penalties.
Despite the strong external interest, Torriani is currently not expected to be loaned out in the upcoming January transfer window. The highly-rated youngster will likely remain with Milan and is expected to assess the best option for his future—together with the club—during the summer.
The 20-year-old has made two senior appearances for Milan in his career, particularly making an appearance against Liverpool in the Champions League last year. He has also been on the bench multiple times in the last few months.
