In a recent report, La Gazzetta dello Sport mentioned that Arsenal are locked in a three-way battle for Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz. It has been stated that the Gunners would have to rival Chelsea and Barcelona in pursuit of the Turkish wide player.
Yildiz has made a great start to this campaign as he has put in a handful of impressive displays on the left side of Juventus’ attack. The Turkish talent has registered two goals and earned four assists in eight matches for the Turin outfit this season across all competitions.
The 20-year-old has caught the eye at times in the final third and deserves credit for averaging 2.10 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. He has kept 41.7% of his attempts on target. Yildiz has also been tidy when distributing the ball in the opponent’s half based on his pass success rate of 79.4% in the Italian top tier (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Italian club will run out in the summer of 2029. Thus, it won’t be easy for the Gunners to get a deal done for him on the cheap next year.

Yildiz is proficient at finding some space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Turkish sensation has chipped in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals for Juventus this season. Yildiz is primarily a left-winger but can also fill in as a right-sided wide player or as a striker if needed. However, only time will tell whether he can adapt to the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Gunners manage to bring him on board this January or at the end of this campaign.
Yildiz would add more firepower to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He is good enough to challenge for a regular starting spot at the North London club.
At 20, the future looks quite bright for Yildiz as long as he continues to improve with each year. Thus, Arteta would be wise to go all out to snap him up in 2026.
