Martin Ødegaard just can’t seem to catch a break.
The Arsenal midfielder was forced off after 30 minutes during their Premier League clash with West Ham on Saturday afternoon.
After a goalless first half-hour at the Emirates Stadium, Ødegaard’s attempts to run off a knee injury proved futile, and he was eventually substituted.
He was replaced by Martín Zubimendi as Mikel Arteta’s side went on to score the crucial opening goal, courtesy of Declan Rice.
For Ødegaard, however, it marks another significant setback, as he has now been forced off with an injury in the first half of three consecutive Premier League home matches.
Truly rotten luck for the Norway international.
