Arsenal supporters could finally witness the trio they have long anticipated. Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Martin Odegaard are expected to start together for the first time when West Ham arrive at Emirates Stadium. Injuries have delayed that prospect, but Mikel Arteta appears ready to pair power with creativity in what could be a defining Premier League fixture.
Declan Rice returns to the midfield after being rested on Wednesday, coming off the bench for the final 30 minutes. His presence against his former club always carries intrigue, yet his influence is now measured in dominance rather than nostalgia. Arsenal thrive when Rice dictates play and this meeting with West Ham demands authority in the centre of the pitch.

Martin Odegaard delivered a man of the match display in midweek, setting up Saka’s goal. Eze and Saka were both introduced from the bench against Olympiacos, the latter scoring, further strengthening their case for selection. Viktor Gyokeres is set to lead the line as he searches for his first goal in six matches, offering physical presence against a stubborn West Ham defence.
Arteta made six changes for the victory over Olympiacos and he could rotate again. Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori are likely to step in at full-back for Ben White and Myles Lewis-Skelly. Gabriel was withdrawn with a knock yet his manager moved to calm concerns. “I think he’s going to be okay,” he said. “He felt something, I think it was a kick, I’m not sure, in the first half, and he was a bit uncomfortable, and towards the second half he was there. He could carry on, but we decided not to take any risks, really, because he’s played a lot of games. He comes from a long-term injury as well, and we need to look after him.”
