Barcelona set out price limit for Liverpool star Luis Díaz | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have decided on the maximum fee which they are willing to fork out for leading transfer target Luis Díaz this summer.

That’s according to Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez Haya, who has on Thursday provided a fresh insight into the situation.

Wide-man Díaz has of course seen his name dominate the headlines in Catalunya’s capital for several weeks now.

This comes amid the widespread understanding that the Colombian international has been earmarked as a priority signing on the part of Deco and the Barcelona board.

A deal will not be an easy one to come by, with Díaz remaining an important member of Arne Slot’s squad at Anfield.

In their upcoming round of planned negotiations with Liverpool, though, the Blaugrana will nevertheless make clear their that they will not go beyond a fixed sum to secure Díaz’s signature.

The fee in question? €60 million:

‘Luis Díaz remains Barça’s first option. They have set a deadline for the difficult negotiations with Liverpool, both in terms of time and money (not going beyond 60M).’
