Anthony Gordon is open to a move to Bayern, with the Munich side already planning their next talks and Newcastle seemingly preparing for a departure
FC Bayern are pressing ahead with their plans for the summer transfer window and could land a real top transfer in the process. As transfer insider Sacha Tavolieri reports, Anthony Gordon has signaled to those close to him that he is basically open to a move to the German record champions
The 25-year-old attacking player from Newcastle United thus sees a possible move to Munich as the next logical step in his career
Michael Olise obviously plays a decisive role in this assessment. The Frenchman moved from the Premier League to FC Bayern last summer and has developed into a key player in a very short space of time
According to the report, it is precisely this successful move that serves as a guide for Gordon, who is convinced that he too can make the leap to the Bundesliga and establish himself at FCB

Those responsible at Säbener Straße now want to actively push the situation forward, with further meetings planned with the player’s advisors in the coming weeks to discuss the framework conditions of a potential contract
This is an important step, because while talks with the player’s side are apparently going well, the exchange with Newcastle is still at an early stage. A concrete transfer fee has not yet been set
The attitude of the current club is also interesting: according to Tavolieri, Newcastle United are already looking internally at the possibility of Gordon leaving and are already on the lookout for a replacement
Fittingly, the British Times reports that Newcastle are prepared to sell Gordon to Bayern if the German record champions are prepared to pay the transfer fee of 75 million pounds (86 million euros) set by the club for the English striker
Newcastle are aware of Bayern’s interest, although no official contact has yet been made between the two clubs
According to the Times, Bayern are currently „clear favorites“ for Gordon, ahead of Liverpool and Arsenal, and the Times also confirms that new talks between Gordon and Bayern are expected to take place soon.
