Bayern Munich are Bundesliga champions for the 13th time in 14 years after a big win over Stuttgart sealed Meisterschale with four games to spare. The record champions will now aim for completing the treble as they await semi-final clashes in the DFB-Poka and Champions League.

Stuttgart converted the first big chance of the game into the opening goal when Bilal El Khannouss combined well with Chris Führich in the midpoint of the first-half. The winger,  who returned to Julian Nagelsmann's squad in last month's international break, ended his mini-goal drought with his first since the 3-3 draw with Heidenheim in February.

Bayern's response was a three-goal performance inside six minutes. Raphael Guerreiro, Nicolas Jackson, and Alphonso Davies – who all didn't start the midweek game against Real Madrid – showcased Bayern's squad depth by netting the quickfire goals.

Guerreiro, who will leave the club as a free agent at the end of the season, was the first to do so when he benefitted from a slick play by Jamal Musiala on the left wing. Luis Diaz provided the assists for the next two goals, although with some help from Finn Jeltsch and Jeff Chabot.

Guerreiro intercepted Jeltsch's misplaced pass before a typical unselfish play from Diaz to spot the better-positioned Jackson for the second goal. Chabot was rather unfortunate a few minutes later when he deflected Davies’ shot into his own net. The Canadian international scored his first goal of an injury-riddled campaign on the momentous day.

Musiala hit the sidenetting on the stroke of half-time, but Bayern were already on the verge of sealing back-to-back league titles. Vincent Kompany still introduced Harry Kane and Michael Olise at the start of the second-half in place of Musiala and Diaz.

England's captain only needed seven minutes to leave his mark as he scored from a rebound after Alexander Nübel denied Leon Goretzka. Bayern's loanee thwarted the midfielder with another brilliant save at the hour mark. Joshua Kimmich and Olise were next to try their luck as Bayern edged closer to a fifth goal.

At the other end, Jonas Urbig, who played ahead of Manuel Neuer in goal, made a great save with his leg when Bilal El Khannouss had a one-on-one chance. Olise followed that up with another nonchalant moment, but fellow substitute Maximilian Mittelstädt made a goalline clearance.

With 15 minutes left to play, Bara Ndiaye was handed a home debut by Kompany. Ten minutes later, Deniz Ofli comes on for his Bayern debut. There was still some time for Stuttgart's second goal as substitute Chema Andres made the scoreline respectable for the Champions League hopefuls.

Since the gap between Bayern and Dortmund grew to 15 points with only four games left to play, Bayern sealed their 35th German championship victory. Their focus will now turn to progress for a first DFB-Pokal final since 2020 as they face Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday. Stuttgart will stay in fourth, but they will also have a chance for cup glory with a home game against Freiburg the following day.
