According to Sunderland Echo, Bayern Munich are monitoring Sunderland pair Brian Brobbey and Robin Roefs ahead of the summer window after their strong Premier League impact.
Both arrived last summer and have impressed during Sunderland's first season back in the Premier League. The duo are on long-term deals, giving the Black Cats leverage, with Roefs valued around £60million and Brobbey understood to be £40million to £50million.
Brobbey joined from Ajax for around £17.3million, potentially rising to roughly £21.6million, and has six goals in 25 appearances. Beyond the numbers, his physical presence and movement have been key. The 24-year-old had prior interest from Arsenal and is expected to be in the Netherlands World Cup squad, which could raise his profile.
Roefs has emerged as Sunderland's number one and one of the campaign's standout performers. Bayern are thought to be assessing long-term successors to Manuel Neuer, with Roefs under consideration, and they also admire Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen. Chelsea have been credited with strong interest in the 23-year-old.
Sunderland are under no pressure to sell. Their data-led recruitment targets high-upside talent, drawing comparisons with Brighton, and both players have increased in value since arriving.
Brobbey could command more than double what Sunderland paid Ajax, while Roefs' valuation has surged. If interest becomes formal bids, sporting director Florent Ghisolfi will face major calls. Any double deal could push towards £100million if Sunderland choose to sell, though there is no need to do so.
