Blackburn Rovers, 19th in the Championship and level on points with West Brom, have been granted permission to change two places in their 25-man squad for the rest of the season.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, last week’s signing Nathan Redmond, the former England youngster, has been added to the list, and a defensive alteration has also been approved because of injuries.

With defensive duo Sondre Tronstad and Lewis Miller sidelined, Rovers have deregistered the pair and reregistered George Pratt, who has spent time on loan at Chorley.

Under EFL rules, clubs may request permission to adjust squad lists by a specified date.

Portsmouth made similar changes last season when new signing Ibane Bowat suffered a knee injury, removing him from their squad and naming Colby Bishop in his place.
