Bookmakers’ latest odds set out a predicted Premier League table for Leeds United’s second season back, following a first pre-season look at Daniel Farke’s side against Wrexham.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the prices have Arsenal 7-4 favourites ahead of Manchester City at 3-1, then Liverpool 7-1, Manchester United 15-2, Chelsea 9-1 and Tottenham Hotspur 28-1.
Nine weeks after the final match of 2025-26 at West Ham, Leeds opened pre-season against Championship side Wrexham at the Raymond James Stadium in New Jersey. Farke picked a blend of experience and youth with several key players missing.
Leeds trailed 1-0 after 31 seconds, then missed a penalty. Joel Piroe, who had been denied from the spot, and Sean Longstaff struck to make it 2-2 at half-time.
Summer signing Harry Wilson was introduced at the break as Leeds pushed for the lead, yet Wrexham’s Sam Smith struck an 88th-minute winner to seal a 3-2 defeat.
Pre-season scorelines carry little weight for the campaign, but it offered a first glimpse of a new-look Leeds. The odds also frame where Leeds are viewed against Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Everton and newly promoted Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City.
