Brasileirão 2026 table after round six as São Paulo lead and Santos sit 14th

The sixth round of the 2026 Brasileirão closed on Monday night with a 1-1 draw between Chapecoense and Grêmio at Arena Condá. Santos, held 1-1 by Corinthians in the derby, end the round 14th on six points.

São Paulo lead on 16 after winning 2-1 at Red Bull Bragantino. Palmeiras are second on 13 after a 1-0 win over Mirassol, with Fluminense third, also on 13, after beating Athletico-PR 3-2. Bahia sit fourth on 11 after defeating Internacional.
In the relegation zone are Botafogo, beaten 3-0 by Flamengo, and Remo, who lost 1-0 at Coritiba. Cruzeiro are 19th after a draw. Internacional, Santos' next opponents, are bottom with only two points.
There were 26 goals across 10 matches in the round, an average of 2.6 per game. Home sides won four times, there were three draws, and away teams claimed three victories.
