Serie A side Genoa could be forced into selling midfielder Morten Frendrup, with the player now attracting interest from both Brighton and Brentford.
Frendrup has impressed for the Rossoblu in recent weeks and has been a key part of their side since last season. Marco Conterio has now reported about his situation, stating that the midfielder had attracted interest from Napoli, Liverpool, Brentford and Brighton in the summer but two clubs – the Seagulls and the Bees have kept on monitoring the player.
It is due to his performances have Liverpool’s interest has also increased. It is Milan though, who have scouted him many times and they see the Dane as a back-up to Youssouf Fofana and these clubs could take advantage of Genoa’s financial situation, which is a bit troublesome for them.
Last summer, Frendrup’s value was at €18 million to €20 million but it is expected to be higher in the summer.
