Bryan Zaragoza could leave Celta Vigo for Roma before the window shuts, with Bayern Munich weighing an early end to his loan. According to Superdeporte, Roma are exploring a deal mirroring his move to Galicia, a loan with an option to buy from Bayern. The move is described as close, and he may not be available to face Getafe this weekend.
For Celta, the setback would be significant. Zaragoza has become a key outlet since arriving, with two goals and four assists in 26 games.
His dribbling threat and one-v-one ability have added depth to the attack, and losing him at the deadline would weaken that area.
Celta had not envisaged this scenario after weeks of adjustments that brought stability. The club recently re-signed Fer López from Wolverhampton to bolster competition up front, and he marked his Europa League debut with a goal.
Bayern hold the decisive say, and are open to repeating the formula by ending the current loan and approving a new one while retaining control. Roma want to move quickly, mindful that others could join the chase if talks drag.
For Zaragoza, it would be a difficult choice, with Vigo offering trust and prominence, and Roma promising a step up and wider exposure.
