Roma is moving quickly to secure Gian Piero Gasperini’s requested left-back signing.
Their target is Bryan Zaragoza, a 2001-born winger owned by Bayern Munich, currently on loan at Celta Vigo.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Giallorossi have reached an agreement with the player, who has expressed a desire to move to the capital.
The deal is at an advanced stage.
Work is underway on two fronts: first, negotiations with Bayern for a loan with an option to buy, and second, the early termination of the agreement with Celta Vigo. To release the player immediately, the Roman club is prepared to pay a compensation fee to the Galician club.
Confirmation of the advanced stage of negotiations comes from Spain. Celta coach Claudio Giraldez has officially excluded Zaragoza from the squad for the match against Getafe: “Negotiations are ongoing, and I felt he wasn’t mentally ready for this match. For this very reason, I left him out of the squad.”
