Corinthians have allowed 26-year-old defender Cacá to take a medical as he edges towards a loan move to Vitória.
ge.globo reports that the agreement is expected to run until the end of the season, with a possible obligation to buy at the end of the deal, the fee undisclosed. Corinthians and Vitória had already reached an understanding, while the player’s representatives were ironing out final terms.
He missed recent sessions at CT Joaquim Grava during talks. He was also omitted from Dorival Júnior’s squads for the wins over Red Bull Bragantino in the Brasileirão and São Bernardo in the Campeonato Paulista.
Athletico Paranaense explored a deal earlier this year, but negotiations did not progress.
In 2026 he slipped down the pecking order after Gabriel Paulista’s arrival, who now partners Gustavo Henrique at centre-back.
Despite Félix Torres leaving on loan to Internacional, Cacá remained behind André Ramalho and João Pedro Tchoca and has made only one appearance this year.
He joined in March 2024 on loan from Tokushima Vortis and was bought outright for 2 million dollars after triggering a 2,200-minute clause. Corinthians retained 60 percent of his economic rights, with a contract to December 2028 and a domestic release clause of R$ 300 million.
Cacá has played 72 matches for the club, starting 65, and has scored eight goals.
