🏟️ Camp Nou puts in official bid to host 2029 Champions League final

FC Barcelona has officially confirmed, through a statement, its intention to host the UEFA Champions League final in 2029.

The proposal has the institutional support of the Barcelona City Council and the Generalitat of Catalonia, who are seeking to bring the event back to the city after three decades.

The formal documentation, containing all the technical and logistical details required by UEFA, will be submitted in a comprehensive dossier by June of this year.

If the bid is successful, Camp Nou will once again be the stage for the European final 30 years after the historic 1999 final, when Manchester United came from behind to defeat Bayern Munich in stoppage time.
