According to Coluna Do Fla, the CBF kept the entire R$ 12.6 million gate from Sunday’s Supercopa do Brasil final at Estádio Mané Garrincha in Brasília, leaving Flamengo and Corinthians with no ticket revenue.
The federation awarded prize money totalling the same amount, including an additional contribution from Conmebol, with each club receiving 50%. That payout broadly matched the takings from the final.
A crowd of 71,244 set a new record for the stadium, surpassing Brazil v Colombia in 2026 World Cup qualifying.
On the pitch, Corinthians beat Flamengo 2-0. Gabriel Paulista opened the scoring in the first half.
Yuri Alberto added the second to seal the win.
