Chelsea are aware that Real Madrid will have the final say when it comes to Nico’s future, but are hopeful of bringing him to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2026.

The Blues join Serie A giants Inter Milan in the race for Nico, with the Nerazzurri having a long-standing interest in the 21-year-old attacking midfielder.

In fact, recent reports even suggested that Inter were prepared to shell out close to €60 million in order to ensure that Nico joins them next year.

Despite the growing interest, Nico is believed to have his heart set on a move back to the Santiago Bernabeu. As such, everything indicates that the Argentine ace will secure a return to Real Madrid, two years after having left his boyhood club.
