Rayan Cherki, Phil Foden and Erling Haaland have all been nominated for December’s Premier League Player of the Month award.
Our stellar attacking trio shone brightly as the Blues won all five of our top-flight matches over the festive period – and all seven games across three competitions.
We saw off Fulham 5-4 at Craven Cottage, Crystal Palace 3-0 at Selhurst Park and Nottingham Forest 2-1 at the City Ground as well as 3-0 home successes over West Ham and Sunderland in the top-flight as well as a 2-1 triumph at Real Madrid in the Champions League and a 2-0 Carabao Cup victory over Brentford at the Etihad.

Cherki contributed one goal against Nottingham Forest and four assists – one at the City Ground, another at Selhurst Park and two at home to Sunderland.
That included an outrageous ‘Rabona’ set-up for Foden’s final goal of the afternoon against the Black Cats.

Foden started December with a brace in the remarkable away triumph at Fulham, including a sensational strike from outside the box.
He added further efforts against Sunderland and Palace, while also contributing four assists.

Haaland, meanwhile, bagged five goals in five games in December as he remained on course for a third Golden Boot in four Premier League seasons.
He scored against Fulham to enter the prestigious 100 Club in record-breaking time before bagging braces against Crystal Palace and West Ham. Our prolific No.9 also supplied three assists – two against the Cottagers and one against the Hammers.
Our trio are up against fellow December nominees Dominic Calvert-Lewin of Leeds United, Liverpool’s Hugo Ekitike, Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins as well as Harry Wilson of Fulham.
The deadline for voting is at 12:00 (UK) on Monday 12 January with the winner to be announced at 11:00 (UK) on Friday 16 January.
