MLS outfit Chicago Fire could be on for a busy summer as they are reportedly 'in talks' to sign former Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka, according to The Athletic.

Goretzka is a free agent and will depart Bayern Munich when his contract expires at the end of the month, though Chicago face 'stiff competition' in Europe for his signature.
The German won seven Bundesliga titles and one Champions League during an eight-year stint with Bayern.
Meanwhile, Chicago are also said to be pushing to sign legendary striker Robert Lewandowski this summer.
Chicago currently sit third in the MLS Eastern Conference, but they could be set for a revolutionary summer as they chase their first MLS Cup win since 1998.
