City to face AFC Bournemouth in Women's FA Cup fourth round | OneFootball

Manchester City will travel to AFC Bournemouth in the fourth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

The Cherries fended off Fulham in an outstanding 5-0 victory against the Cottagers in the third round.

City travel to the South Coast to face the third tier side on the weekend of 17 and 18 January.

Bournemouth have been flying in the league and currently sit top with an impressive total of 26 points from 10 games and have been unbeaten in the Women’s National League for over 1000 days.

The Blues are one of 32 teams competing at this stage in the competition, which sees teams from the Barclays Women’s Super league enter the tournament.

City have won the famous competition three times in our history, most recently in 2020 when we beat Everton 3-1 at Wembley after extra time. Last season, however, we reached the semi-finals.
