Lamine Yamal
FC Barcelona has unveiled its plan to get Lamine Yamal back to 100% fitness in order to defeat Real Madrid in the upcoming Clasico on October 26.
After suffering a pubic injury and being slowed down at the start of the season following a relapse in the Champions League clash against PSG, Lamine Yamal is now following a precise protocol. According to sources close to the player, his recovery is going very well, as reported by Mundo Deportivo. The plan devised by the fitness coaches is meticulous: active recovery, targeted strengthening, and closely monitored rest.
While players not called up for international duty are enjoying three days off, Lamine will have only two. It may seem like a minor detail, but it sends a strong message: the prodigy is determined to be ready. After this short break, he'll return to group training on Monday, with a clear first objective—regain match sharpness against Girona in La Liga on October 18.
If all goes according to plan, Yamal should play between 30 and 45 minutes against the Catalan club, a key test of his readiness in a high-intensity La Liga fixture, according to the sports daily. Then comes the next step: the Champions League clash against Olympiacos, where he could start for the first time since his injury, targeting 60 to 70 minutes of action.
It’s worth noting, everything is being planned for October 26, at Montjuïc Stadium, against Real Madrid. Hansi Flick has made it clear: Yamal must be at 100% for the Clasico.
