The future of Serge Gnabry at FC Bayern is taking on increasingly clear contours. As reported by BILD, a contract summit between the record champions and the ROOF consultancy agency took place last week. In the „Bayern Insider“ podcast, Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl not only confirm the talks – but also a new, surprisingly positive dynamic
The exchange between the club and the player’s agency was obviously more constructive than anything seen in recent months. „There was a meeting with the consultants from the ROOF agency. They talked about the future, about opportunities, about salary savings of course, but also about the fact that Gnabry feels very comfortable in Munich,“ explained Altschäffl
It is therefore clear that Bayern and Gnabry are once again talking openly about a future together. Mutual trust seems to be more important than financial matters at the moment – a topic that Max Eberl recently emphasised himself. „He and Christoph Freund want to build bridges,“ said the sporting director after the 3-1 win against Sporting Lisbon. A formulation that shows that the club is actively seeking a solution

In the podcast, Christian Falk highlights how much Gnabry’s demeanour has changed recently. The 30-year-old presents himself as more open, more communicative, more tangible. „He is now also opening up to the outside world, suddenly giving TV interviews, standing up, something he didn’t do before.“
For Falk, this is an important signal: Gnabry is consciously positioning himself as a leading player, showing identification and presence – qualities that are particularly in demand at Säbener Straße in a phase of upheaval
Internally, Gnabry was always highly regarded anyway. „Everyone said, great guy, great team player, everyone loves him,“ recalls Falk. There were never any problems with the team or the staff – his image suffered more from injuries, fluctuations in form and public perception. Now he is actively working to change this perception
According to Sky, Bayern are already preparing a concrete offer: a new two-year contract until 2028, presumably at a reduced salary. For Gnabry, perspective and trust are the most important things – and he seems to feel both more strongly again in Munich
Bayern, for their part, know that an in-form Gnabry is a valuable part of their attacking structure, and his recent performances, commitment and changed demeanour are highly valued internally.
