Liam Rosenior’s appointment at Chelsea raised a few eyebrows, both within and without the club. But he’s made a good start, and one pundit is positive.
Former Chelsea defender Tony Dorigo is a well known commentator know, and watches plenty of the Blues as well as European football.
He had some interesting thoughts on the appointment of Liam Rosenior as the club’s new manager, as we approach the two month mark.

“I’ve got to say, the appointment was an interesting one. It’s a bold one right from the very start. I do think he’s one heck of a tactical manager, I remember him at Hull, watching the way they played was brilliant,” said former Blues full back Dorigo.
“But then going to Chelsea, it’s a different ball game completely. I think he’s handling himself well. He’s trying to be true to himself, which is always important.”
We’d agree with that. Nobody is sure it will work out yet, but we’ve come to like Rosenior’s unique ways, and hope it does. The next few weeks, when we face some huge games, will tell us a lot.

The failure to secure a front of shirt sponsor for the last few years has been the most visible failure of this ownership, and it’s not getting any better by the sounds of things.
Chelsea have a major player problem on the horizon too, with Nicolas Jackson set to return from Bayern Munich where he’s been on loan. It looks like a new destination for him next summer.
