Corinthians marked the Dia do Torcedor Corinthiano on 23 April, honouring the Fiel and revisiting recent and historic mass followings, including Brasília during the 2026 Supercopa.
According to Meu Timao, Municipal Law No. 14.399, originating from project 233/03 in 2007, established the date, which coincides with Saint George’s Day, the club’s patron.
On social media the club shared a tribute that recalled taking the Supercopa do Brasil 2026 trophy to the stands at Neo Química Arena. The Cultural Department praised the supporters’ scale, loyalty and constant presence, highlighting the Invasão Corinthiana in the capital for the decider.
The trophy salute came before a 3-0 win over Capivariano on 5 February 2026 in the Paulista first phase. Before kick-off, defender Gabriel Paulista completed a lap of honour with the cup after scoring one of the goals in the Supercopa title win.
In the week leading up to the final against Flamengo, organised supporter groups called an unprecedented show of unity. About 200 buses went to Brasília, 74 from Gaviões da Fiel, with Camisa 12, Coringão Chopp, Estopim da Fiel, Fiel Macabra and Pavilhão Nove also represented.
At Mané Garrincha, despite the 71,244 attendance being split evenly between the clubs, the Fiel were the louder presence. The spectacle drew praise from players, staff, directors and even opponents.
The post also noted other landmark gatherings across more than 115 years, including the 1976 Maracanã invasion and the sizeable backing in Japan during the 2012 world title.
