Corinthians defender picks Yuri Alberto over Haaland in world XI game | OneFootball

Corinthians defender João Pedro Tchoca left Erling Haaland out of his world XI, opting for Yuri Alberto instead.

According to Meu Timao, the choice came in a yes or no game posted by influencer Ellen da Fiel in partnership with Casa CazéTV.

Tchoca also approved Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Júnior, Jude Bellingham, Lamine Yamal and Lionel Messi.

The call is notable because Haaland led Brazil’s World Cup exit, scoring both in Norway’s 2-1 win. He has seven goals at this tournament. Norway face England in the quarter-finals on Saturday at 18:00.

Yuri Alberto is not at the World Cup and is training with Corinthians. The club play FC Cascavel on Sunday at 16:00 at Estádio Olímpico Regional in Paraná, a friendly to prepare for the second half of 2026.
