Corinthians edge Velo Clube, confirm Tchoca loan to Torino and move for Alisson

Corinthians won 1-0 at Velo Clube in the Campeonato Paulista, with Yuri Alberto scoring. According to Meu Timao, they later confirmed João Pedro Tchoca’s loan to Torino and moved closer to a deal for Alisson.

The fifth-round tie in the first phase kicked off at 20:30 at the Estádio Benito Agnelo Castellano.

After the match, Corinthians announced a loan with obligation to buy for 22-year-old centre-back João Pedro Tchoca to Torino in Italy. The deal runs until the end of June and was set at 1.5 million euros, about R$ 9.5 million.

The club are also close to finalising a loan for midfielder Alisson from São Paulo until the end of the 2026 season. Payment from Corinthians is awaited for completion, which could come on Monday.

The victory and transfer developments capped a busy Sunday for the club.
