Corinthians face Bahia in round two of the Brasileiro Sub-20

On the afternoon of this Thursday (26th), the Corinthians under-20 team takes the field for the second match of the 2026 season. In the second round of the Brasileirão of the category, the Timãozinho visits Bahia at the CT Evaristo Macedo, starting at 3 PM (Brasília time).

The alvinegro team aims to continue their good start in the competition to remain in the top positions of the table. In the first round of the national tournament, Corinthians hosted América-MG and won easily, with a score of 4 x 0.

Probable lineup

Looking to maintain the good start in the competition, coach William Batista is expected to field an initial 11 with Pietro; João Vitor Jacaré, Lorenzo, Iago Machado, and Pires; Caraguá, Luiz Eduardo (Luiz Gustavo Bahia), and Gui Amorim; Nicollas, Luizinho, and Luiz Fabio Favela.

The broadcast of the Brasileirão Sub-20 matches is the responsibility of the home team, and Bahia has not disclosed where the match can be followed. Central do Timão will bring all the details of the decisive game after the final whistle.

Refereeing

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has appointed Ricarle Gustavo Gonçalves Batista as the referee for the match. He will be assisted by Maurício Araújo da Mota and Aleq Santana dos Santos Silva, while Eziquiel Sousa Costa will act as the fourth official of the match.

Next match

After the clash against Bahia, Corinthians returns to the field next Monday (2nd) at 8 PM (Brasília time) to face Grêmio. The match will be valid for the third round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 and will be held at the Pavilion (Estádio Airton Ferreira da Silva).
