Corinthians host São Paulo in the Campeonato Paulista third round on Sunday, the first clássico of 2026, with three absences and no players at risk of suspension. According to Meu Timao, kick-off at Neo Química Arena is at 16:00 and head coach Dorival Júnior still does not have a full squad available.
The absentees include Argentine midfielder Rodrigo Garro, who is recovering from surgery on his left wrist. Dutch forward Memphis Depay is undergoing load management since his return and has yet to resume ball work.
There is also a diplomatic issue. Venezuelan midfielder José Martínez travelled home to regularise his passport and has not yet returned, and is expected to be back in São Paulo later this weekend.
Even so, at least two fresh options could be available for selection. Midfielder Raniele, absent from the first two matches, has trained with the ball again, while debutant Matheus Pereira was unveiled on Friday after leaving Fortaleza.
Corinthians come into the Majestoso in ninth place, having beaten Ponte Preta 3-0 then lost 3-0 to Red Bull Bragantino. The state championship has a new format this year, with only the top eight after the first phase advancing to the knockouts.
