Corinthians honour Deives with traditional parade to mark 115 years 🎉

Over the past few days, Corinthians has carried out a series of actions to celebrate its 115th anniversary, which was completed on the 1st of September. And this Saturday, the 6th, another part of the celebration was promoted by the club, through the organization of the traditional Parade of Sports at Parque São Jorge. The event has been taking place for several years, with the aim of celebrating Alvinegro as a multi-sport club.

The event was attended by President Osmar Stabile and representatives of various Corinthians sports, such as the athletes from Corinthians Steamrollers (American football), amputee football, cycling, extreme sports, youth teams, futsal, women's football, among others. Many members also attended to honor the celebration, which included the hoisting of a new flag with the club's symbol.

The great honoree of the event, however, was the futsal idol and top scorer Deives, who is serving his last season as an athlete this year. Along with Rogerinho, multi-champion of amputee football, they were responsible for carrying and lighting the torch, one of the highlights of the parade.

The number 10 of the Alvinegro futsal received from Stabile a certificate of honor to merit, to celebrate his victorious career at Parque São Jorge. In total, the pivot has 16 titles for Corinthians, won in 229 official matches with 148 goals and 22 assists. The last of them was the Torneo Mucho Más, in Spain, last month.
