According to Meu Timao, Corinthians visit Chapecoense on Thursday at 21:30 at Arena Condá in the seventh round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with seven absentees and six players one booking from suspension.

For workload management, Gabriel Paulista, André Carrillo, Kaio César and Memphis Depay remained in São Paulo. English midfielder Jesse Lingard is also out as his registration has yet to appear on the CBF’s BID while he awaits a work visa.

Goalkeeper Felipe Longo is recovering from a sprain to the ligament in his right elbow, and left-back Hugo Farias is treating a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee after surgery.

There is a boost with the return of striker Yuri Alberto, the team’s top scorer this season with three goals. He has overcome a grade two left hamstring injury that kept him out for more than a month.

On two yellow cards are Hugo Souza, Gustavo Henrique, Matheuzinho, Matheus Bidu and Raniele. Any booking would rule them out of the next round against Flamengo. Carrillo is also on two cautions but is not in the squad.

Corinthians began the round eighth on eight points, with Chapecoense 12th on six. An away win could move the visitors closer to the G5, which secures a 2027 Libertadores place.
