Corinthians’ standing in the 2026 Paulistão after three rounds

Corinthians hosted São Paulo on Sunday afternoon (18th) at the Neo Química Arena, for the third round of the first phase of the 2026 Campeonato Paulista, and ended up drawing 1-1. The Corinthians goal was scored by midfielder Breno Bidon in the final minutes of the second half, after an assist from striker Pedro Raul inside the box.

The draw in the Majestoso left the Alvinegro in seventh place in the state championship with four points (one win, one draw, and one loss – four goals scored and four conceded) – only the top eight advance to the knockout stage. At this moment, Red Bull Bragantino and Palmeiras lead the tournament, both with nine points (100% record), with Massa Bruta ahead on goal difference (nine to three).

In third to fifth place are Novorizontino, Capivariano, and São Bernardo, with the first two having six points and the latter four. Meanwhile, from sixth to tenth place, all teams have four points: Primavera, Corinthians, Santos, Velo Clube, and São Paulo. In 11th to 16th place are: Mirassol (three points), Portuguesa (three points), Noroeste (two points), Guarani (two points), Botafogo (two points), and Ponte Preta (zero points).

Aiming to fight for the top spots in the Campeonato Paulista to eventually secure home advantage in the knockout stage, the Alvinegro will return to the field next Thursday (22nd). At 7:30 PM (Brasília time), Corinthians will visit Santos FC at Vila Belmiro for the fourth round of the first phase of the state championship.
