Corinthians to debut new black away kit at home against São Paulo after CBF approval

Corinthians will debut their new second kit on Sunday against São Paulo at the Neo Química Arena in the 15th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. According to Globo.com, the club have CBF approval to wear their away strip at home.

Corinthians will play in all black, while São Paulo are set to take the field in all white.

The collection marks 50 years of the Invasão Corintiana, when around 70,000 supporters travelled to Rio de Janeiro for the 1976 Brasileiro semi-final against Fluminense.

The second shirt uses the crest worn at the time and revives the club’s traditional black and white stripes.

On 17 May, away to Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro, Corinthians should debut their first kit, which is predominantly white.

The new collection is set to launch on Friday morning.
