Corinthians to face Novorizontino in Paulista semi-finals | OneFootball

Corinthians will face Novorizontino in the 2026 Campeonato Paulista semi-finals, with a place in the final at stake.

Dorival Júnior's side advanced by eliminating Portuguesa at Canindé, winning 8-7 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. According to Meu Timao, the semi-finals are scheduled for the first of March.

Novorizontino also sealed progression on Sunday, beating Santos 2-1 in São Paulo state's interior.

Thanks to a superior overall campaign, Novorizontino will host the tie at Estádio Doutor Jorge Ismael de Biasi, known as Jorjão. The other semi-final pits Palmeiras against São Paulo, with dates and kick-off times to be confirmed by the Federação Paulista de Futebol this week.

Fourth in the overall Paulistão standings, Corinthians could play the first leg of the final at home if they advance and face an opponent with a better campaign. The overall table continues to be updated during the knockout stage.

Before then, Corinthians return to the Campeonato Brasileiro on Wednesday to face Cruzeiro at 20:00 at Mineirão in the fourth round.
