Talks over a fresh naming-rights deal for the Neo Química Arena have moved forward, with Corinthians also progressing on squad matters.

According to Meu Timao, Caixa has advanced the process to hire a company to assess the value of the stadium’s naming rights, while the club awaits the bank’s position on the appointment of the fund manager.

Corinthians remain confident of facilitating Fabrizio Angileri’s return and are counting on the player’s wish to come back to Parque São Jorge to bolster the team.

Forwards Yuri Alberto and Memphis Depay missed the first training session of the week after the Supercopa do Brasil triumph.

The number nine stayed off the pitch as he continues to recover from a viral illness, while the Dutchman carried out recovery work inside the training centre.
