Manor Solomon Loan Talks Signal Movement at Spurs and Palace

Crystal Palace’s Forward Void

Crystal Palace’s search for attacking flair has accelerated following the high-profile sale of Eberechi Eze to Arsenal. According to The Athletic, talks are under way for a deadline day loan move for Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon. The Israeli international has become available after Spurs secured Randal Kolo Muani from PSG on a straight loan deal. The shift suggests both London clubs are aligning short-term solutions with long-term ambition.

Solomon’s Stop-Start Spurs Story

“The winger joined Leeds United on loan in August 2024 after playing only eight games for Spurs during an injury-hit 2023-24 campaign.” Fitness issues stifled his rhythm, but Solomon’s talent remains undisputed. Palace are betting on that ability to fill the void Eze has left, as they look to inject spark into an otherwise blunt attack.

Frank’s Forward Planning

“He was named on the bench by Spurs head coach Thomas Frank for Saturday’s defeat to Bournemouth but did not appear.” With Muani now arriving, opportunities at Tottenham may narrow further for Solomon, making a move across the capital a logical next step.

Loan Deal Still Under Review

“The details of the loan agreement are still being discussed by the London clubs.” For Solomon, this could be a defining chapter to reignite a stuttering Premier League journey.

Our View – EPL Index Analysis

Losing Eze was gut-wrenching but not unexpected with the money Arsenal threw down. Now, bringing in someone like Solomon on loan is clever business. He may have struggled at Spurs, but he’s got the kind of directness and unpredictability we’ve lacked since Zaha left.

Yes, injuries have hampered him, but look at his pre-Spurs form for Shakhtar Donetsk and even flashes at Fulham. He can twist a game in our favour, and we need that badly. It’s also smart that it’s a loan—less risk, more flexibility, and it keeps pressure off while we rebuild post-Eze.

The fact Spurs landed Kolo Muani from PSG suggests they’re moving in a different direction. That opens a door for us. If Solomon stays fit and finds rhythm, he could be a game-changer for us. If it doesn’t work, we regroup in the next window.

Palace fans should be expectant. This is a calculated gamble, and it could pay off in a big way.
