Days after a 4-1 defeat at Elland Road, Crystal Palace could still aid Leeds, with the Eagles competing with West Ham for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, according to the Telegraph.
Oliver Glasner had labelled his side embarrassing after conceding four, as Daniel Farke collected one of his best Leeds results.
West Ham are determined to sign Larsen and believe the Norway international could help them claw back ground on Leeds in the relegation battle.
He was the subject of a £55m Newcastle bid in the summer after scoring 14 goals in 35 Premier League matches last season.
Palace are set to go head to head with the Hammers for the Wolves No.9 this winter, and, with UEFA Conference League football to offer, they could be well placed. If Palace were to land him, it would be a blow to West Ham’s survival prospects.
West Ham could still target a different forward, yet a Premier League proven 25-year-old is scarce in a relegation fight, so those at Elland Road would surely prefer Palace to win this race.
