Same date, same place, same round, same result? One year after a virtually identical clash, we'll once again be hosting WSG Tirol in front of our home crowd this Thursday 30 October (19:00) in the cup's round of 16! We'd be very happy to see the same final score, as we secured our place in the next round with a commanding 3-0 victory back then.

We already faced Philipp Semlic's team once this season in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, securing three points with a 2-1 away win. Since then, Tirol have been struggling for form, finally ending a losing run with a 2-0 victory against FC Blau-Weiß Linz on the most recent matchday.
The upcoming match will also mark the premiere of our new pitch system, a modern hybrid system designed to keep our beloved turf in even better condition, especially during the colder months. You can find more details HERE.
The best way to experience that will be by coming to the stadium on Thursday and supporting our Red Bulls in their battle for a place in the quarterfinals! Premium season-ticket holders automatically have access to the match, while Basic season ticket holders can book their tickets at a discounted price. Bullidikidz Club members also have access to an exclusive free ticket offer.
As always, you can find all the key information for your visit to our UNIQA ÖFB Cup home game in our matchday information:
You can follow the match from home or on the go in Austria via a free live stream on ÖFB TV and krone.tv. We'll be providing live updates here.
We already faced them in this competition last season, winning 3-0. In the league, we recently beat them 2-1, although we made it unnecessarily difficult for ourselves at the end, and it got close. Our aim is to reach the cup final. That makes this match also a kind of final, because only a win will see us through to the next round. So, our clear objective is to beat Tirol.

Playing against WSG Tirol, a Bundesliga rival, is certainly not the easiest task. We experienced that just recently in the league. I think the cup tie could be just as close, and we'll have to give it our all. As everyone knows, there has to be a winner in this competition, and that winner should definitely be FC Red Bull Salzburg.

The draw for the UNIQA ÖFB Cup quarter-final will be made on Sunday 2 November as part of ORF 1's ADMIRAL Bundesliga coverage from 19:15 CET.
