The Mancunian giants managed to secure a solid 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield recently, which should give them a ton of confidence going into this game.

Arne Slot will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this clash. Ruben Dias and Rayan Cherki could both play from the start of this game.

Defence

Gianluigi Donnarumma will operate in between the sticks for Man City after he conceded one goal in his last league appearance. Ruben Dias will function alongside Marc Guehi at the heart of the Man City backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Matheus Nunes will try to put in a solid display at right-back, while Nico O’Reilly hopes to prove his value on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will try to go forward and express themselves inside the Fulham half.

Nathan Ake will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Benardo Silva will be in a race against time to be fit for this game. He could get the nod to start alongside Rodri and Tijjani Reijnders as they focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park and orchestrating some inviting chances in the final third.

Nico Gonzalez will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Antoine Semenyo will try to give a good account of himself on the left flank, while Rayan Cherki looks to make a difference on the right wing.
