Valencia have kept Stole Dimitrievski until June 2028 after activating a two-year extension clause. According to AS, the club will pay €500,000 to extend his deal.

The North Macedonia international started the entire second half of the season, impressing the coaching staff and earning their backing for continuity. Valencia executed the renewal without negotiating.

Dimitrievski joined as a free agent two seasons ago after leaving Rayo Vallecano. In his first campaign he sat behind Giorgi Mamardashvili.

After Mamardashvili’s move to Liverpool last summer, Dimitrievski began as first choice. Valencia signed Unai Agirrezabala, who held the spot until a January injury, then did not feature again that season.

Since arriving in 2024 he has made 33 appearances across LaLiga and the Copa del Rey. His experience and solidity underpinned an upturn after the winter, including five clean sheets in wins over Getafe, Levante, Osasuna, Sevilla and Athletic Club.

The 32-year-old has since played friendlies for North Macedonia against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Türkiye. He will rejoin Valencia after his holidays.
