Corinthians have released behind-the-scenes footage of their 3-1 comeback at Grêmio, capturing Fernando Diniz’s fiery team talk and a playful ‘Dembélé’ nod for two-goal André Luiz.
According to Meu Timao, the 15-minute Corinthians TV film arrived a little over 24 hours after the 17th-round win in Porto Alegre.
Grêmio led through Gabriel Mec before André Luiz levelled from the edge of the box on 47 minutes. He struck again after Yuri Alberto’s assist, then Kaio César beat Viery on the left and finished across for 3-1.
The piece shows arrival, warm-ups and the anthem, with the ‘Poropopó’ chant backing the turnaround. In the dressing room, coaches Reverson Pimentel and Wagner Bertelli demanded focus and intensity, and Diniz urged bravery and total commitment.
Post-match scenes include celebrations with the travelling support, then Gui Negão joking that André Luiz was like Ousmane Dembélé, deciding two matches in a day.
Diniz later said he was very satisfied with the early phase of his work, calling this perhaps their best away display after a slow start, and that a dominant second half merited the win.
The result lifted Corinthians to 10th with 24 points, into the 2027 Copa Sudamericana places and above Grêmio, Internacional, Vitória, Botafogo and Cruzeiro. A World Cup break now follows, with FC Cascavel on 12 July, then Remo at the Neo Química Arena around 22 July in the league.
