Done Deal: Chalobah agreement with Como, Chelsea get €30m plus €6m bonus | OneFootball

Multiple sources confirm Como have agreed a deal with Chelsea for Trevoh Chalobah, set to pay €30m plus up to €6m in add-ons for the England defender.

Sky Sport Italia note that he should be on Italian soil for his medical on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.

The negotiations had been dragging on for weeks, and intensified after Inter withdrew their interest, as the two Serie A sides had agreed a pact of non-aggression over this transfer target.

Chalobah turned 27 last month and was part of the England squad that took the bronze medal at the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

A product of the Chelsea youth academy, he had loan spells with the likes of Ipswich Town, Huddersfield, Lorient and Crystal Palace.

Como were in Serie B two years ago, but have flourished under coach Cesc Fabregas and qualified for the Champions League for the first time in their history.
