El Khannouss makes permanent Stuttgart move until 2028

Bilal El Khannouss has completed a permanent move to VfB Stuttgart, committing to the club until 2028 after a season on loan.

According to BuLi News, the Moroccan spent 2025-26 at Stuttgart on loan from English side Leicester City and the agreement has now been made permanent.

In his debut campaign he made 41 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.

His form has earned him a place in Morocco’s squad for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth praised El Khannouss, highlighting convincing displays, exceptional ability and further potential, and noting his central role with Morocco. The club believe he has not yet reached the end of his development.
