ALAJUELA, Costa Rica — The Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers continued with El Salvador winning 4-nil against Nicaragua in Group A on Thursday at Costa Rica Federation Field #1 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

El Salvador took the lead in the 16’ when Melanie Menjivar converted an opportunity from the penalty spot.

Angie Alvarenga extended the lead in the 26’ with a right-footed shot from outside the box.

The third goal for El Salvador came in the 53’ by Arianna Jones.

The two sides will conclude play on Sunday, March 22. El Salvador will take on Canada, while Nicaragua faces the Dominican Republic.
